This Is What A Quality Sign Of A Good Boss Is Like!!

Quality Sign Of A Good Boss? It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and discipline to be a good boss. After all, the success of the entire organization depends on the boss’s shoulders and for this reason, there’s constant pressure to do the right things in the right way.  

So that everybody prefers to work under a good boss. When the boss is good to employees, they naturally want to do their jobs well at least to make their boss happy.

Having a good boss makes the workplace friendly, inspiring and environmentally, so that the employees wake up every day, looking forward to being at work. 

There are some common techniques that all good bosses have followed, and it’s mostly because of these attributes that employees love to stick with them.  In this topic, I am trying to highlight some of the qualities that make a boss great!

Point No. 1 - “Team Work” 

Communication and Communicates The Company’s Vision Clearly is the foundation of teamwork. A good boss knows that in order to achieve great success with their team, he or she must clearly explain the vision of the company in such a way that should inspire employees to help achieve it.

A smart boss knows that they need to present these goals in a convincing manner. Whenever employees understand the target of the organization clearly, they have a good sense of direction, and their activities become more streamlined toward actualizing those goals.

Point No. 2 - “Workable Strategy” 

Creates such A Workable Strategy On How To Achieve The Vision. A talented boss ensures that every task he or she delegates is connected to the vision of the company. In this way, each one of the employees performs, taking them one step closer to achieving the company’s set target.

To do this, a good boss focuses on smart goals related to the business strategy, which ultimately resonates toward achieving success for the organization. A good boss should always remind staff about their targets, and also assigns milestones with which he or she measures their results, and makes corrections if necessary.

Point No.3 - “Setting Realistic” 

Sets Realistic And Clear Targets Good bosses don’t assign cluttered work. They clearly and specify the job description of every staff member, in such a way that the employees have a clear understanding of their tasks and what is expected from them.  Having a clearly defined work reduces stress at the workplace.  

A good boss can reduce the stress of their employees by discussing with them, one-by-one; to make them understand the roles they need to play, to ensure the success of the organization. A good boss also gives timely updates whenever there is a change in expectation. Whenever these changes occur, good bosses also clearly explain what the new tasks are there, and the way of solution to execute.

Point No. 4 - “Atmosphere” 

Makes The Workplace Conducive To The Workers to a relaxed atmosphere. The unsatisfied employees get the workplace affected by their productivity. If the working environment is conducive and friendly, it drives them toward getting excellent productivity. A good boss should provide encouragement, respect and trust so that employees need to unleash their creativity and reach their full potential.

Point No. 5 - “Act Like Coach” 

Be As A Coach is one of the amazing attitudes of a good boss. This gives them the ability to lead. A good boss therefore is able to mentor, teach and direct their team on how to reach their target. Better put, a good boss always applies wisdom in coaching their team. In this way, they simply direct and allow their employees to make the necessary corrections.

Point No. 6 – “Empowerment” 

Empowering Employees that drives everyone loves to feel that their boss appreciates their proficiency and expertise. Therefore, a good boss allows staff to make some decisions concerning the tasks, especially those within their field of specialty. 

By giving this freedom, employees can get the opportunity to prove themselves, by creating solutions and achieving the targets without bosses “feeding” .Employee empowerment provides the avenue for employees to become top-performers, grow their careers and build their confidence.

Point No. 7  - “Respects”  

Respects The Perspectives Of Employees and good bosses do not act like overlords. They value the thoughts and opinions of their employees, and they are always looking for their opinions. When a boss asks for an employee's opinion, it makes the employee feel that the boss considers them more valuable and value ​​their contribution towards the company's success.

Point No. 8 - “Provides Feedback'' 

A good boss gives timely feedback during projects and work assignments. They always check on the employee from time to time and give feedback at every crucial stage of work. By giving timely feedback, indirectly a boss gives their staff an opportunity to correct any anomaly on time, so that it doesn’t affect the final result.  

Even Though, when giving negative feedback, bosses make their reviews constructive and instructive in such a way that’s encouraging instead of deterring the efforts of the staff.

Point No. 9 – “Welfare Activity” 

Cares About The Welfare Of Their Employees bosses act should neither be arrogant nor aggressive. They should care about the personal life of their employees. They try to create a certain level of personal relationships with their workers so that the workers can feel free to talk to them about their worries. They always ask about the welfare of their employees, because they understand that a sound personal life yields more productivity at the workplace.

Point No. 10 – “Support”  

A supportive boss cares for and supports their staff. Because they understand that showing emotions once in a while is shy to show their human side. They understand that their employees are not immune to personal challenges so that when issues of an illness, family emergency or other such things occur, the boss shows compassion and provides support for their workers. This can make the employees feel appreciated, and drives them toward greater quality productivity.

Point No. 11 – “Sharing Personal Experience” 

Sharing Personal Experiences workers get a great motivation when the bosses tell them their personal experience. By sharing experience of their past challenges, and how they overcame to get to their current level, good bosses inspire their team to strive toward success.  

Everyone wants to advance in their life and career, and there’s no better place to draw the necessary inspiration than the workplace. A good boss understands this, so that they share their personal experience to teach and inspire their staff. This can also improve the relationship between the boss and the team.

Point No. 12 – “Shows Appreciation”  

A good boss does not hesitate to appraise employees when they do well. They do this either in person or with teammates. In either case, this can boost the morale strength of the staff, and also encourages them to do better in future.

Point No.13 – “Identifies Unique Talents Of Each Employee” 

A good boss works like a talent manager. They have the capacity of observing each employee to find out their unique talents.  Once they identify these talents, they help each employee to develop such talents in such a way that will benefit both the employee and the organization. By doing this, the boss helps employees grow and increase productivity.

Point No.14 – “Strong Decision Maker” 

A good boss thinks thoroughly about every issue, analyses suggestions, and then makes final decisions. They are not indecisive people who get confused about what to do. A good boss does research, consults the relevant stakeholders and takes lots of things into consideration before making decisions.

Point No.15 – “Treats Everyone The Same” 

A good boss treats all employees equally. They understand that giving preference to some employees and leaving others aside creates discord and bitterness in the workplace, so that they avoid partiality and favouritism.

Conclusion:- 

Every company hesitates to suffer employee turnover, especially when it comes to losing their most credible hands. Because of this, every boss who wants to maximize their human resources should acquire these points, and apply them in their daily operations.
